After some concerts abroad, in Lisbon and at MEO Sudoeste Festival, it is now time for Djodje and Nelson Freitas to present their project Kriol Kings in the city of Porto.
Kriol Kings is the result of the reunion of two of the most vibrant names of the Portuguese-speaking music: Djodje and Nelson Freitas. Today it is difficult to talk about this music originating from the Portuguese-speaking world and reaching the whole world without talking about Nelson Freitas's contribute to it, with his combination of zouk cabo-verdiano and R&B. Singles like "Miúda Linda”, “Bo Tem Mel” or “Break of Dawn” with Richie Campbel are overwhelming successes. In turn, Djodje from Cape Verde is another artist leaving Cape Verde to conquer the world, gathering a vast legion of fans thanks to singles like "Não Vai", "Dói Demais", "Vamos Fugir" with Cuca Roseta, or "A Fila Anda" with Jimmy P. The reunion of these two names could only result in an unforgettable concert, full of successes and truly contagious African rhythms.
This wonderful duo performs on November 30 in Porto, at Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota.
